ACFCLA Contemporary Dance Company features some of the top contemporary dancers currently working in the industry from all over the World with credits including Twyla

Tharp, Boston Ballet, Michael Jackson, Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Cats, Chicago, SYTYCD,

TV/Film and more. The Dance Company performs major concert events featuring original  contemporary productions, dance festivals, charity benefits, community events  and lecture demonstrations in schools through out the year.   Every piece the dance company creates is designed to entertain, educate and inspire people in positive ways through this artistic form.


The ACFCLA contemporary dance company consists of an Artistic Director - Anacia Weiskittel Principle Soloists, Corps Dance Company members and large group of guest artists and guest Choreographers including Kobi Rozenfeld, Gitit Kohavie, Stilt World and more.  We are a co-op style company in that each of it’s members and select guest artists choreograph for the company as well as teach company classes.  This is part of what gives us our unique style and diverse selection of material.   Each of our dancers have extensive professional dance experience and are equally amazing people in their like-minded and community efforts as well as incredible talents.

DANCE COMPANY

Angelina Prendergast - has appeared in many TV/Film & Commercials as a professional dancer and actress.  Angelina received the Distinctive award from the Royal Academy of Ballet, UK.  She trained with Boston Ballet, MA, Kansas City Ballet, Royal Academy, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, Longmont Dance Theatre, and Perry Mansfield Performing Arts School, Co. and graduated from American Musical and Dramatic Academy AMDA.




Dasha Tertorva - Grew up dancing with the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow since age 4.  After performing ballet for years she decided she wanted to learn other styles like Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop.  She has since gone on to perform "Cats" musical, "Riverdance Company" European tour along with professional work that has taken her all over the world. Recently she has worked with Beyoncé, MJ Cirque video, and is one of LA's most sought after dancers for her technique and Hip Hop styles.  





Danielle Towne - Danielle moved to LA in 2002 to pursue a professional dance career.  Since then she’s been seen on many tours including most recently The Black Eyed Peas World Tour.. You can spot her in numerous music videos with such artists as Brittany Spears, Avril Lavigne, P Diddy, Wolfmother, Aretha Franklin, and Lady Gaga. She has traveled the world performing and has been in various commercials. She has been teaching since the age 16 and sets choreography at studios all over the United States.



Andrew Pirozzi - dancer, actor, singer from Hillsborough New Jersey. He started dance training at the early age of 4 at Kathleen Academy of Dance in Hillsborough, and continued training in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz at Princeton Ballet School. Throughout his middle and high school years he became more involved with the school musicals and plays. It was during these years that Andrew recognized his passion for acting and singing in conjunction with his already big appetite for dance.  Andrew has been performing in multiple theatrical shows and touring with a few Broadway shows. Most recently he has moved to Los Angeles where he resides with his wife Stacey and two daughters. Upon his arrival in L.A. Andrew is inspired to pursue his film and television career.


Stacey Pirozzi - Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, she has always had a passion for dance.  She started at age 3, studying all styles. Received her BFA in Dance and BS in Physiology at The University of Arizona.  Stacey went on to perform with both the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 National Tours of Twyla Tharp and Billy Joel's Movin' Out.  She fulfilled the role of dance captain during the '08-'09 tour, performed as the character Judy, and was also a swing and Brenda understudy.  Stacey has taught classes at studios around the country and continues teaching in her current residence of Los Angeles, CA where she lives with her loving husband, Andrew.  They are enjoying working together in ACFCLA Dance Co.

Bekah Spurgeon - Received a BFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She was a professional NBA dancer with the Charlotte Bobcats. Since moving to Los Angeles she has performed in several music videos, USO troop tours, concert performances and dance festivals with various dance companies including ACFCLA, Louise Reichlin,

Shahirah Salem - Shahirah is currently working on getting her Juris Doctorate degree at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.  After studying Public Health Policy at University of California, Irvine, she was eager to pursue a career in law, while integrating her great passion for the arts.  She is currently dancing with the ACFCLA Dance Company and is very excited to work with so many talented individuals on the Board of Directors.

Brittany Piech - Brittany grew up in the mid west suburbs of Chicago and started dancing when she was 3. By the time she was 12 and was accepted into an elite Jazz dance company called Perseverence Dance Company which is still going strong today. When she Graduated form High School she received a Scholarship from Gus Giordanos dance company in Chicago and started out in their apprentice company. She moved to California to be on scholarship at the Edge. Since she has lived in LA she has appeared on the show "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" Series on Disney channel. She has had the experience of doing 3 shows at The El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.

Deirdre Barnes - Deirdre began her dance training at the age of 3. She has received several scholarships and awards from Blake McGrath, and she appeared on the TV show “Dance Life” to being Miss Teen Candance, Starpower’s Dancer of the Year, and 2007 Miss Capezio .
Deirdre has worked with top choreographers and performed with “Aqualillies” featured as a guest performer on “Americas Got Talent” and “So You Think You Can Dance”, choreographed by Wade Robson, Cirque du Soleil in the show “BELIEVE,” “Dancing With The Stars” and More.

Jenelle Lancaster - Graduate of UCLA Political Science and Philosophy she intends to continue school and get a degree in Law. Originally from Alberta, Canada, she began dancing at the age of 3. At 16, she traveled to Riesa, Germany to compete in the World Dance Championships, where she took home a gold medal. At 17 she moved to NYC and was the assistant choreographer for the world famous Radio City Rockettes. She has traveled the world performing eventually found her way to Los Angeles. Most recently she could be seen in Disney's production of "UP" at the El Capitan Theater, several TV appearances, including Calvin Klein's "Look Good, Feel Better" ad campaign and FOX's "VIP Passport" series. Jenelle has danced in a number of music videos for world famous recording artists, such as Kylie Minogue and The Roots, to name a few.


Simon Twu - Actor, Singer, Dancer, received a BM in Vocal Performance at California State University, Northridge. He speaks 4 languages and works steadily as an actor and performer in TV/Film, Commercials, Industrials and Theatre.  He started training in dance only recently but has found a passion and continues to train with top professionals.


Ruthie Holmes - Actor/Dancer  Originally from Saratoga Springs New York is dedicated to inspiring others through dance, movement and comedy.  She studied Theatre Arts at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is trained in all forms of dance and even circus arts (clown, mime, balloon animals) and more. She has performed Dee Caspary’s Nvitational, and Tri Artst Dance Festival, Goddess A Go Go, Need Theatre LA, Le Studio Dance and was a Hot Box dancer in Cabrillo College’s “Guys and Dolls”.  She continues to work as a actor/dancer in live theatre productions, TV/Film and Commercials and is studying improv comedy at Second City in Hollywood.  Ruthie has always believed that life is worth living if you can put a smile on one person’s face a day.


Juan Toledo - A South American Native originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador. He came to California as a teen. He discovered a yearning and passion in the Performing Arts at a very young age.  He danced under the direction of Robyn Gardenhire of City Ballet of Los Angeles and has choreographed for local companies such as Creations Dance Theatre and LA Unbound. He has performed in several Musical Productions, America’s Best Dance Crew Promo, Mun2 Spanish Network and has also danced with Dancescape and The Fanatix Dance Co.


Jonathan Silva - Studied at Orange Coast College and is the owner of J Silva Dance Academy.  Jon's career didn't begin with dance.  He was a high school cheerleader and a member of the elite PACE All Stars cheerleading team in Orange County. He was also a cheerleader for Orange Coast College, their team went on to win the 2007 national championship.  Jon is an NCA national jump champion. It wasn't until age 17 Jon realized his love and talent for dance.   Jon is featured in numerous music videos, commercials, theatre and film.  He danced for Disney, Jonas Bros. and choreograph for the group LMFAO.  Most recently Jon can be seen on Nick Jr's "Fresh Beat Band" and Beyonce's latest video "Girl".

Lilian Manansala - dancer, choreographer, and master teacher, she was a World Arts & Cultures major at UCLA.  She is on faculty at Degas Dance Studio and has taught throughout the nation for Dancemakers Conventions, TAMJAMS, and Fusion Dance and has choreographed for the Disney Channel's That's So Raven, Cory in the House, Hannah Montana, Sonny with a Chance, Good Luck, Charlie, Kickin' It, So Random, and abc family's Pretty Little Liars. Lilian currently also sits on the Board of Directors of ACFCLA and has taken on key leadership positions.

Janna Ridley - Janna s from Virginia Beach, VA and trained at the Governor's School for the Arts and Academie de Ballet in addition to summer programs at Ballet Magnificat and The Juilliard School.  She is excited to join ACFCLA after a very long hiatus from dance in which she graduated from James Madison University with a B.A in Theatre and Dance and a B.S. in Communication Sciences.  While she was letting her pointe shoes air out, she had a career as a trade show model/emcee and founded the live marketing company United Trade Show Talent.  She also works commercially as an actress and dancer and can most likely be seen behind a product on your television screen.  When she is not dancing, she works as a hair and makeup artist.  When her pointe shoes finally did air out, they didn't fit anymore...such is life.
